Using the Guide System

As the pilgrim grows and develops (hence invents and stores the innumerable problem solutions and responses to them), she matures to primary function (i.e. goal) operation. In other words, she condenses her wide range of potential function to a single goal (or small cluster of goals) or outcome.

Once she has decided her goal (and, indeed, the fine detail of her goal, and which is her problem), she hands over the solution of her problem (i.e. goal achievement), namely the realization first in personal real-time (i.e. as a firm internal image), then in everyday real-time of that goal, to her Guide System (variously call Genie, Alma, the Madonna, Christ, Guardian Angel and so on). By handing over the problem (i.e. by submitting her problem and therefore her self) the problem to be solved (or goal to be realized) to her Guide System, the pilgrim enters upon the Inner Game of pilgrimage.

Her Guide System will then instruct the pilgrim what she needs to do, i.e. which data she needs to acquire, in order for the goal to be achieved (or the problem solved). All the pilgrim needs to do then is to reality test the Guide Systems solutions.
