Understanding the pilgrim’s
Control & Guide Systems The pilgrim (here understood as an
instruction (hence message) transmission device, indeed, as every living system,
from single cell to human) is born equipped with fully functional internal
Control & Guide Systems. She is born into an environment, be that a
primeval nutrient soup (supplied by her mother), a complex body, a family, a
local culture or a nation (i.e. each of the former being a temporary cluster
of pilgrims), that functions as an external Control & Guide System. The pilgrim’s
internal Control & Guide Systems serve to provide her with a perfect (because decided) response
to each and every situation. The external Control & Guide Systems (to
wit, the environment (operating as a particular, hence relative holding
system) of alternate pilgrims) reality test - and are tested by - the
pilgrim’s response. The pilgrim’s
response (i.e. her data output as external act) to a previous reality test
(i.e. to a data input resulting from contact) is first tested by the
pilgrim’s Control System (i.e. for energy profit or loss). Then, if an energy
loss has been incurred, the Guide System models (i.e. simulates) a ‘perfect’
response to the inputted datum and the primary and secondary needs of the
pilgrim. The response
to both the input and the pilgrim’s need and the degree of perfection first
simulated and then ‘put out’ is dependent on 1.

the quality (i.e. as structural refinement) of the internal Control
& Guide Systems, 3.
the data previously inputted (i.e. her memory). 4.
and the virtual (local, i.e. personal) goal of the pilgrim In short, the
pilgrim’s Control System first ‘tests’ the inputted
datum for quality (i.e. the relative increase or decrease of energy and the
quality of self-construction materials required), and (in humans at least)
rewards either with happiness (for energy increase) or punishes with
unhappiness (for energy decrease). Then the Guide System models (i.e.
simulates) a locally (i.e. internally,
therefore self-) perfect, i.e. @best (in relation
to the former 4 dependencies) response. Thereafter the pilgrim puts out (or
acts, makes contact with) that locally (i.e. self-) perfect (i.e. ‘@best’)
response. Her Control & Guide functions happen in response to each data
input (in other words, they are fully recursive), hence countless times per
second. The upshot of
the former understanding (courtesy of Emile Coué) is that the internal output
simulation of the Guide System, be that a feeling, emotion, thought or image,
determines the pilgrim’s actual output (or act to be performed). Hence
whatever the pilgrim feels, emotes, thinks or imagines, that she becomes
virtually, thereafter becoming it actually by making contact (i.e. acting
out, therefore realizing her feeling, emotion, thought or image). |
