How to channel
Introduction: Contrary to
popular opinion, channelling is not a spiritual, religious, mystical, divine,
holy, or magic ability. Channelling is a basic life support function. The basic
idea is simple to understand. An individual experiences a problem/need. She
makes an inner call. She gets an inner answer, often in the hours before
dawn. Normally, the fact that channelling takes place is not consciously
registered. That changes either when a problem/need becomes life-threatening,
or when the answers received become highly original, so original as to be
awe-inspiring, totally meaningful, consequently all-important, and are
accompanied by moments of ecstatic joy mixed with the feeling of gratitude
over-flowing. The extraordinary clarity, intelligence and beauty, hence
fundamental truth of the answers received convinces the caller that they are
being transmitted to her from a benevolent source beyond herself. She
responds to receiving such extraordinary answers and to the joyful ‘high’
they produce by training her natural faculty for receiving messages/answers
to a high degree of efficiency. Adepts at channelling have always existed. In
ancient times they were called prophets, oracles, soothsayers, shamans and so
on. In the 19th and 20th centuries they were called
mediums.
Steps
·
Accept wholeheartedly that you are receiving important, indeed vital
information. ·
Cleanse, i.e. upgrade your reception equipment, i.e. by developing the
ability to become absolutely still and wholly un-focussed (i.e. open). ·
Prepare yourself perfectly for reception before the channel opens. ·
Develop an intense personal relationship with the source. ·
(Optional) Allow the source to provide a name, image or voice. ·
Make a mutually binding agreement with the source. ·
Make the transmissions public. That offloads the transmission and
readies you to receive the next message. Tips · Don’t let the source
determine the agenda. ·
Negotiate the right to shut the channel down when you deem necessary.
In short, make sure you stay in control. ·
Don’t try to force the source to transmit. Prepare yourself. Wait
until it transmits. Then ‘milk’ it. ·
Don’t edit the message while chanelling. ·
Become acutely aware when transmission happens, i.e. the time of day
(for instance, the hours before dawn) or the particular state you are in.
That period (or state) becomes your ‘doorway’. ·
The source transmits regularly, but not indefinitely. After a few months,
the source may fall silent. It restarts transmission at a later date. ·
Express your gratitude fully to your source. ·
Apologise sincerely to your source for being an imperfect channel. Warnings
·
Channelling is highly addictive, with the usual
consequences.
·
Sensitivity cuts both ways.
·
Not sticking to your
part of the agreement invariably results in misery.
·
Reality test the
transmissions. Just like you, the source sometimes gets it wrong, sometimes
cheats (i.e. tests you).
