The Inner Pilgrimage
The Inner
Pilgrimage serves to restore the pilgrim (i.e. the state she presents for
contact (hence to the world) to structural (hence response) wholeness (i.e.
to perfection, unit or quantum status, perfect health, ‘righteousness’ and so
on). The Inner
Pilgrimage is fundamentally a blind (data shuffling) operation because
internal, that is to say, without direct contact to the external world.
Because it is a blind operation, it can do its job perfectly (i.e. for any
pilgrim (i.e. niche creator) and of which there are n), within any set of
circumstances (i.e. data) and under all circumstances. The Inner
Pilgrimage integrates the differential (read: random) input/datum received at
contact. Entry of a random contact (i.e. of the new), and which
provides it with energy (i.e. relative momentum) and the potential for change
(i.e. a relative angle), disorders the pilgrim. The Inner Pilgrimage
(algorithm, i.e. program) restores the pilgrim to perfect order. The Inner
Pilgrimage is controlled by the Core Pilgrimage (algorithm, to wit ‘reverse energy
loss’, to wit: death) and guided by its current state (as structure, often
mistaken for design (i.e. intent)), and which doubles as its memory, the
efficiency of its programming and the random datum (i.e. the new information)
received. By integrating
the new datum, the Inner Pilgrimage simulates the boundary functions (the
whole state affect) to be constructed by the Internal Pilgrimage. The
simulation function of the Inner Pilgrimage is a real event since real data
(i.e. the stored data organised as the current design (or architecture and
the incoming datum) are being reorganised. In short,
the Inner Pilgrimage, controlled by the Core Pilgrimage, functions as a
locally affective ‘design’ (i.e. the ‘return to wholeness, hence to
perfection status’) algorithm by adapting to (in fact adopting) random (or
relatively random) data input. The pilgrim must either adopt the random input
(i.e. the new) and its energy (and die (i.e. self-sacrifice) suddenly (i.e. a
petite mort, see nibbana),
thereafter to be reborn) or refuse (or fail to make) contact and adoption of
the new (that disorders but energises) and die slowly (the grande mort, see pari-nibbana). Since the
Inner Pilgrimage continuously produces and simulates perfect solutions (that
is to say, since it continuously restores the pilgrim to (real internal)
perfection), it is experienced by the pilgrim as nourishing, hence life
giving function, thereafter anthropomorphised as ‘The Spirit within’, ‘the Mother’, the Guardian
Angel’ the ‘Genie’ and so on. The
