Storing the goal

For goal read: sanctuary

Once the goal of the pilgrimage has been fully determined and decided, i.e. as fixed (i.e. ‘read only’) vision (i.e. image), idea (i.e. thought), emotional feeling or physical presence, and acknowledged (i.e. fixed as Inner Pilgrimage nano reality), or as a (‘hard’) frame (hence ‘fixed’ basic direction) to be filled in later, it must be stored (in computer jargon, ‘saved’ (unless, of course, the goal (to wit, an actual pilgrimage site) exists in the real world).

The goal of the pilgrimage can be stored internally, as a perfect (because fixed, i.e. ‘read only’) memory, or externally as a ‘hard copy’.

For greater efficiency, the entire image (i.e. of the ‘as if’ goal achieved), i.e. the totality of its detail locked as a ‘file’ (or looped string), can be either compressed and abstracted to a simple, easily recalled symbol (or icon or idol, such as the black Kaaba stone at Mecca), or given a (‘file’) name (for instance, ‘Allah’, ‘Christ’, ‘Money’, ‘Love’ and so on), the symbol, as icon or idol, or the name (as verbal icon), ‘standing’ for (hence anchoring) the complete detail schedule of the ‘as if’ goal (read: sanctuary) and which is normally too difficult, onerous and risky to recall from moment to moment. Perfect access to (i.e. recall of) the whole image of the goal stored either in memory or externally (i.e. as external memory) may result in increasing numbers of access (or recall) errors. Accessing the symbol or name will sub-consciously recall the entire goal unchanged. The ‘as if’ goal symbol (i.e. as shortcut icon) can be worn on the body, for instance as a pendant (or mala) hung round the neck, or tattooed into the skin, or hung on a wall as a picture, or glued to the back of a picture or mirror and so on.

If the ‘as if’ (image of the) goal is not stored as an unchanging (i.e. ‘read only’) whole it continues to change, therefore produces an uncertain ‘as if’ goal. An uncertain goal cannot be reached with certainty. Frequently access (or recall) of the goal powers it up and makes it (internally) real, thereby increasing its (mass, hence its drawing power (i.e. gravitation).
