To become a true Christian the pilgrim must transform herself into Christ, thereafter to act as Christ, the Anointed (Greek: chrestos).
How
it’s done (as generally understood by Christian cult officials): -
Steps
1 thru 4 are applied (i.e. @100%) to achieve holiness or sacredness. Step 5 is
the relief mode to be used by the pilgrim who is not trying to become holy just
yet.
Step
1: Decide which act is, or which acts
are, the Christ act (or acts). That’s not as easy as it might sound since
the many different Christian denominations offer a wide variety of opinions as
to what constitutes a Christ act (or the whole Christ acts schedule).
Step
2: Focus @100% on (i.e. dedicate
yourself fully to) that act (or those acts), that is to say, during the day,
during sleep at night and especially upon waking up. In short, keep the image
(or mark) of the Christ act ever before you. Keeping an artistic image of
Christ, for instance the image of the Turin Shroud, ever before you is a lot
easier rather than trying to focus on His functions schedule, and works just as
well.
Step
3: Align your acting, therefore your
self, perfectly with the Christ act (or acts). That means, cutting out
misalignment, i.e. sin. Praying,
i.e. whining to God, will not help you. It didn’t help Jesus down from the
Cross. Kissing the relics of saints may produce a miracle or relieve the weight
of sin, but does not make the pilgrim Christ-like.
Step
4: Begin to act as Christ, no matter
how poor that performance might be. At first there will be few hits and a lot
of misses. You’ll get better with practice. If you’ve screwed up (i.e. sinned,
failed) again, just say you are sorry and move on, and do better next time. Find
some sinners (i.e. the un-whole, i.e. those who ‘miss the mark’ because they
can’t see it or haven’t got their act together) to practice on.
Step
5: Decide the degree to which you need
to act as Christ.
Step
5 is very important for the average gal since, in contrast to Christ, and who
was not of this world, she is living in the real world and probably has many
responsibilities. Acting @100% as, i.e. being fully dedicated to Christ means
bearing a heavy cross and being nailed to it. Moreover, since Christ has
already done the job, that is to say, atoned for mankind’s screw-ups, or so the
Big Hats of the Church claim, perhaps it is smarter not to go the whole (hence
holy) way. After all, God originally formed the adam to ‘cultivate the
ground’ (see Genesis 2), not to act as Christ. Acting out Christ’s act (or
acts) @5% or @15% (or more) makes you 5% or 15% Christ-like (or raises Christ
to 5% or 15% within you), though those you touch as Christ are raised fully, at
least momentarily.
The
Christ act is fully rewarded (i.e. with upliftment, i.e. enlightenment, and
rapturous, some claim heavenly joy, mingled with overpowering gratitude) the
moment it is (or they are) carried out.
