PROCEDURE MONISM 2.3 A Monist Systems
Specification of generative Reality By the druid Finn 0. Ontological stance (elsewhere sub’stance) There emerges
one and only one generative system: the Universal Procedure (UP). Everything
that exists is a local differential iteration of the UP x. 1. Event Substrate
(Turing’s tape) Axiom 1 — Stochastic Quantum Event Ocean Reality
contains an effectively unbounded substrate of stochastic quantum events. ·
discrete, ·
blind, ·
pre-informational, ·
non-semantic. UP is
inert without this substrate. II. Event Ontology Axiom 2 — Contact Event Exclusivity All
existence consists of discrete contact events: minimal exchanges of
action constrained by UP. An event is not a particle, field, or substance, but a localized
interaction: There are
no persisting objects — only temporally extended sequences of UP-governed
events. III. Procedural Transduction Axiom 3 — Transduction Rule Blind
quantum (hence
digital) events never transmit information.
Information
is therefore not ontic; it is receiver-generated analogue output. IV. Meta-Constraint Formation Axiom 4 — Differential Stabilisation When
UP-iterations locally recur with sufficient reliability, they generate secondary
constraint-systems. These are
not new constraints-systems (i.e. rules); they are self-stabilised
differential expressions of UP. Physics
parallels: bound states, attractors, symmetry breaking. V. Procedural Identity Axiom 5 — Operational Identity Criterion A system
qualifies as an entity if it: 1. regenerates
its constraint-sets, 2. compresses
degrees of freedom, 3. resists
perturbation, 4. retains
recurrence memory. Identity
is UP maintaining a loop of its own activity. VI. Meaning and Normativity Axiom 6 — Error-Sensitive Transduction Meaning
arises when UP-iterations construct internal error-models enabling
discrimination between successful and failed transductions. Meaning
is not content — it is procedural self-evaluation. VII. Continuance Filter Axiom 7 — Constraint-Cost Selection Principle UP
statistically amplifies those local loops that minimise
constraint-maintenance cost under perturbation from the event-substrate. This is
survival without teleology. VIII. Regime Stratification (UP at Depth)
All
regimes are differential (i.e. local) self-iterations
of the same UP. IX. Falsifiability Conditions Procedure
Monism 2.3 fails if: ·
any entity exists without being a UP-iteration, ·
information exists independent of transduction, ·
meaning exists without error-sensitivity, ·
order arises without stochastic substrate input, ·
identity persists without constraint
regeneration. X. Final Synthesis Reality
is not composed of things, data, or meanings. (Generative)
Procedure
Monism is
defined as one Universal Procedure iterating over an endless ocean of
blind quantum events, producing every atom, organism, mind, myth, and
civilisation as temporary self-stabilised transduction loops. |
